Effective Weight Loss

This food protocol with the hormone HCG, helps to balance blood sugar and allows the body to access excess fat stores as body fuel.
HCG or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is a hormone produced in the bodies of pregnant women to mobilize fat and ensure that there is sufficient energy for both mother and fetus.  For weight loss, a very small amount of HCG is used to mobilize fat.  It does not mimic pregnancy and is safe for both men and women.
You should not be hungry after the first few days on the diet, because your excess fat is being mobilized as fuel for the body, due to the HCG. The food protocol is carefully selected combinations of foods based on the “Pounds and Inches” manuscript of Dr. A.T. Simeons.  The interaction of the foods in the food protocol is critical for success.
An average weight loss for women is .5 to .75 pounds per day (Up to 1 pound per day for men). Weight loss does not affect body muscle mass, and therefore maintains the caloric burning effect of muscle physiology.  Weight loss on this diet comes from the loss of excess body fat stores.
Do not order HCG online, because HCG ordered online is generally from India or China.  It is unsafe, unregulated and may be harmful.  But most important, HCG is an unstable product with an expiry date of 30 days from the time the product is made.
At Hunt Naturopathic Clinic Inc., we make sure your product is bioavailable.  It is prescribed and administered by a licensed Naturopathic Physician, and all patients are appropriately screened to make sure they are healthy enough for this diet.
Another fad related to HCG weight loss is using HCG drops or pellets.  According to the HCG Diet Research Study, “patients using an oral form of HCG (drops or pellets) had no detectable HCG in the bloodstream.” A person taking HCG drops will lose weight, but at the expense of muscle mass.  Anytime muscle is lost from the body it hurts metabolism and puts a person at risk for regaining weight.  For this reason, the HCG drops or pellets are also not recommended.
